[1884-Morgan, completed 1893] Originally Massachusetts Avenue, plans call for a Parisian-style boulevard made up of a 200 foot-wide roadway flanked by houses built with a 20-foot setback with a tree-lined mal down its center from the Boston Public Library to today’s Kenmore Square.
